What an easy baby!!! I started back to work last week and of course every mom doesn’t want to leave their baby, and I’m no exception! I love holding her; she is so content just rocking in the rocking chair – gotta be facing out! Kendall will fall asleep just about anywhere too. She prefers her crib and will take some really long naps if she is there, but she falls asleep in her car seat, bouncy chair, or in the swing.
Tammy (the babysitter) has truly appreciated her laid back behavior. She is still eating about every 3 or 4 hours and still eating about 4.5 ounces. And she sleeps ALL NIGHT! YEA!!!! She goes to bed around 9:30 and then we wake her up to go the Tammy’s around 7. This weekend she slept until 9:30 when we had to wake her up to go to the ball fields.
During the day she isn’t quite on a schedule yet, but takes several naps some up to 3 or 4 hours long. She hardly ever gets fussy and is always entertained by her big brother!
Right now, Kendall enjoys sitting in her bouncy chair and looking at the funny animals hanging in front of her. She doesn’t show very much interest in rattles or anything like that. Parker goes 100 mph, and Kendall just goes with the flow. Whether it be going to the ball fields so Mom and Dad can play ball (yesterday we had a tournament and we were at the ball fields from 10am to 8:30pm- long day), or going somewhere so Parker can burn some energy, or to a Maize football game, Kendall just does it all without complaining. Parker was pretty easy when he was a baby, but I think that she might have him beat!
