My little boy is getting SO OLD! 4 years have passed since he came into our lives and every day since has been amazing.
For his birthday we started off the day with his favorite breakfast - pancakes! Then we pilled in the truck to head to Sams to pick up his birthday cake. When we got in the parking lot he asked if he could roll down the window and yell out that is was his birthday. It's HIS birthday...of course! I think everyone in the Sam's parking lot knew it was his birthday. HA! Then we headed over to Party City to pick up some last minute things and then it was off to Northrock Bowling Lanes. Parker is such a lucky boy! All his cousins and his best buddy Caden were there to help him celebrate! Parker had a blast! Thanks to everyone for making his birthday so much fun!

Parker's 4th Birthday
Parker got so many cool toys! He got Hot Wheels, Lightning McQueen accessories, a magnetic book, Uno Attack, Nerf guns, Star Wars stuff, Monster Truck stuff, and a HUGE 15' trampoline! Made out like a bandit!
Of course, Lightning McQueen is on the cake!

Growing Kiddos
Both kiddos have had a blast playing with their new toys since Christmas. One of Parker's favorites (right now) is the playing with the race track - imagine that! But it is great for the both of them because Kendall likes to sit and watch the cars go round and round. Can't beat that...both kids are entertained at once!
As I mentioned in a previous blog, Parker says the funniest things sometimes. Another quote from Parker, but first let me set the scene.
Parker has been potty trained for what seems like forever now, but still has accidents every once in a while at night. He always feels very guilty and apologizes a hundred times. So whenever we talk to him about it and tell him he needs to get up and go to the bathroom he told me the other day "I try mommy, but my potty is so sneaky." haha... a perfect way to think of it from a 3 year olds perspective.
I feel like Kendall is growing up so fast; I swear she is growing up faster than what Parker did. Tomorrow she will be 5 months old. Kendall is now sitting up without any help. We still put a "safety net" (her pillow) around her just in case she falls, but she even does a good job when she is fallling to one side pulling herself back up. She is getting good at holding on to her toys. Parker is always sticking a car in her hand and he LOVES when she holds onto it. Poor Kendall dosen't have much choice, she will HAVE to like cars too! We have started feeding her cereal twice a day now. It took her a while until she didn't have that sour look on her face when she took a bite. You would think I stuck a pickle in her mouth! But for the most part now she likes it. We have even spoiled her a little and sometimes mix in some apple juice or a little banana. She gobbles down the banana mixture. Kendall is still not big on the pacifier; just likes to chew on it sometimes. She only poops once a week and until we saw Dr. Tsang we were concerned, but she said that it is perfectly normal for breast-fed babies to do that. The other night Parker, Kendall and I (Kevin was at work) were sitting at the dinner table eating dinner and Kendall was "pushing it out." She was working hard at it and her face was all red. Parker was going to die laughing! "Mom, her face it like a firework. She's going to explode." Poor Kendall! Change the topic...Kendall is such a mover and a shaker. She is always wiggling and likes to stand up. I would say she prefers to stand than any other position. Kendall is still a "Happy Spitter." We always have a blanket close by. I think it was Aunt Loni that said that most mommies have a burp rag close by, but over here we carry around a blanket and usually that is not enough. Kevin and I are both WAY ready for that to be over. Whenever we have plans to go somewhere, the last thing we do is change our clothes to what we are going out in. Because we know we are going to wear it otherwise! Her big eyes are becoming so brown and we love her smile. She likes the back of her head stroked and her giggles make me laugh too. She is so much fun to tickle and play with and her new thing is to stick her tongue out. She copies just about everything we do.
