FEBRUARY

I'm playing catch up...but here are some photos from February. 

The month had several nice days where we could get outside and play. We had some neighbors rent the house next door to us because their house caught fire. They had a daughter that was close to Parker's age, but Kendall was excited to have a girl around. Eli (a year older than Parker) likes to hang out with Parker and Kendall as well. 

And Kendall still loves that thumb!

I helped out with Parker's Valentine's Day party. I love to be in his classroom and see how he interacts with his peers. It is clear that he makes friends very easily and his classmates respect him. He is a leader in the room and has a lot of buddies!

Parker was sick the week of his birthday, but Mrs. Shields was kind enough to let us celebrate a couple of weeks later. They have a tradition in her classroom of the Birthday Person gets to pick 2 friends to come to the front of the room and dance with the Birthday Person as the rest of the class sings Happy Birthday to them. I guess this is how 1st Grade Boys dance...
