Table Rock Lake

I took the kids to Table Rock Lake this last 3 days. Kevin had to stay behind because he was too busy with work. Not going to lie, it was pretty hectic with 2 kids at the lake. With no baby gates and the house not being baby proof, Kendall needed held a lot. Parker did a great job playing with 2nd cousin Ayden. The kids did an amazing job in the water. Parker loved jumping off the dock or off Grandpa Kirk's boat and he did a great job swimming. Kendall absolutely loved the water. She spent most over her time in her floatie and wasn't afraid of the water at all. She even enjoyed putting her face in. We left Sunday evening (the Smith's joined us) thinking the kids would sleep - boy, were we wrong. Between 4 kids, there were a lot of tears shed in our car on that 5 hour drive! Parker did pretty well until about the last 20 minutes when it was meltdown city. He just kept saying "I want out," "I want to be home," and the phrase he loved the most was "I want to go to bed!" Poor kiddos were DONE being strapped into their car seats. We got to Great Grandma and Great Grandpa's cabin which is absolutely beautiful! It was great before, but then over the last year they added on more space and WOW! It was so nice! With all the family down there, there were about 30 people there and everyone had space to sleep and do their own thing. We were there for 3 days and our schedule was Kendall and Parker woke up around 8 or 9. Then Kendall went down for a nap around 10:30. We ate some lunch and then headed out on the boats. Parker loved Grandpa Kirk's boat and how fast it went. He liked standing on the backseat watching the wake being made. Kendall liked the music that was in the boat. We stayed on the water for about 5 hours then rolled back to the cabin for dinner. Kendall took at bath and went to bed. Parker ran around with Ayden, Addie and Ellah and crashed for the night around 9:00. We had a great time!

The kids were so happy to be home. Parker played with his cars every waking hour for the next day and when Kendall got home she just kept rolling around on the carpet and giggling. And both were SO HAPPY to see their dad again!
Kendall was doing some fingerpainting the none messy way.
