Football

Parker's first year of football has been great! He is a good receiver! He usually has 1 or 2 touchdowns per game and intercepts 1 or 2 as well. Him and Ryder make a great team. I love when one of the boys does something good and the other boy runs over and pats his butt or chest bumps him. Love watching these boys grow up together!

Parker's Field Trip

I got to go on Parker's field trip to the State Fair. Parker's friend Mikala picked Parker to hang with for the trip. She was such a joy to be around. I admit I was a little frustrated that she picked Parker; I thought Parker and I would just get to hang out at the fair together, but she was so polite. Those two walked around like a little couple (I'm told WE ARE JUST FRIENDS, MOM!). They talked about animals they saw, the weather, their friends, karate (she had a belt challenge that evening), baseball...it was so cute!!! I'm saving these pictures for sure. Maybe when these two are in high school they will reunite.

Kendall is a Lil' Eagle Cheerleader

Kendall loved being a cheerleader for the night! I see a future for her in a cheerleader outfit.

Kendall

My little girl is growing up! Kendall started PreSchool this year at Early Childhood Center at Maize. Kendall is so excited to be at school; she goes on Mondays and Wednesday for 3 hours. Her teacher is Mrs. Becky and she LOOOOVVVES her! I wondered how the first day of school would go...tears? wouldn't let go of my leg? NOPE! Mrs. Independent walked right into class, gave Kevin and I a little wave, and she was off. I guess that's good, right? Very proud of her though. Her first conference last week she did great. She follows directions, can work independently, and works with her peers. Mrs. Becky did say though that she is super shy. I can hardly believe that, but we told her to give it a bit more time and they you won't be able to get her to stop talking.

Kendall has had fun watching her big brother play football this fall. Ryder's cousin, Briar, spent some time together at the game.

Kendall was so excited to see Paige get married. "Paige gets to marry her prince tonight" was what I heard all day. I did her hair special for the event - looks just like Elsa's braid!

She couldn't wait to give the Princess a hug!
