Easter 2014

We had a wonderful Easter this year. Both families came together at our house for the celebration; we had lunch, an egg hunt, and then the kids got to play. It barely rained on us, but that didn't slow us down!

Day to Day

Kendall LOVES to dress up and show off. I never thought I would be the type of mom to let my kid run around in a tutu and wear sparkly shoes and tiaras, but here I am! I remember seeing mom's at Walmart (pre-Kendall days) and their daughter wearing fancy dresses and I thought "why??! Those mom's need to get control of their kid." WHOA was I wrong...pick your battles!

Parker really enjoys having buddies over. Keegan from the ball team is one of those friends that has spent the night a couple of times. And I think Kendall might have a bit of a crush on him too :)

We even set up quite the ice cream sundae bar too...they piled on the toppings and actually that is all they ate - no ice cream needed!

Another Baseball Season...

Lil Jays Baseball started another season. They have been practicing since January a couple of times a week, so the boys were very excited to play a game. First weekend of April they had a preseason tournament for their first season of machine pitch baseball. They didn't win a game, but they played hard and got better every game. I'm excited to see how the team progresses!

Parker has been playing first base and outfield. He is one of the few kids on the team NOT scared of the ball, so he does a great job at first! He has been hitting the ball consistently too, so he has been batting 3rd in the line up. So proud of my little guy!
