Family Photos

Thanks to Maus for taking our family photos again this year. It is a difficult job to catch everyone smiling at the same time!! (it was SO cold!!)

A very warm Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was SO warm this year (mid-70's!). We spent Thanksgiving day at Grandma Chris and Grandpa Tom's house with the Genosky's, Bruce & Doloras, and Jenny & Jozzy. The kids got to run around outside and enjoy Grandpa Tom's new swing set/fort while the adults got some "adult time." (Except for Kendall going up and down, up and down, up and down the stairs. Easy to say she is obsessed with stairs, but we still don't quite trust her on her own yet). We went home and couldn't stay inside so we spent some time in our yard.

I have been enjoying Thanksgiving break too. The best part has been spending time with Kevin and the kids. Kevin will soon start working nights again at Dillons, so I'm soaking up all the time I can get with him. And the kids are always making me laugh!

November

Kendall is getting to be such a big girl. She is very independent and likes do her own thing. When she gets an idea in her head, good luck getting her to change her mind. She still really enjoys her baby doll. She carries it around along with her "nigh-nigh" (blanket). I'm so glad that she likes 3 different ones so we can rotate them through the wash. Those are going to be a hard habit to break! And lately I have been able to get her hair into a ponytail. It is so cute! (her hair drives me crazy! her bangs just hang in her eyes because whenever I put a clippy in she pulls in out. I want her to have longer hair and no bangs so it is the wait-it-out period. AGAIN...DRIVING ME CRAZY!)

Kendall is a big eater too! The other day for dinner she had 3 pieces of pizza, then the next night she had 12 chicken nuggets. OMG! Last week I caught her sucking her toe between bites. Weirdo!

It has been so nice outside lately too! After work I have to hurry to pick the kids up and then rush home so we can get some outside time. The weather is great, but it gets dark at 5:30! We even got to stop by the zoo the other day. Kendall has been to the zoo a couple of times, but I think this was her first time to really notice the animals. It is so awesome to see kids experience things for the first time.

We also enjoyed Thanksgiving last weekend with Great Grandma, Maus, the Smith's, and Cassie & Ellah. Good time with the fam!

Halloween 2012

Another great halloween with LOTS of candy! Parker was a scary zombie and Kendall was the cutest ghost on the block!

We were a little late on our pumpkin carving, but we got it done before Halloween.

Kendall was pretty curious!

Like normal, Parker is NOT into pumpkin guts.
