Woodard Halloween Fun

We had a great time today with the Dad and Dana and the extended family and friends. We all met at the shop to enjoy some festivities.

Facepaint time. Parker requested to be a pumpkin.

Time to decorate cookies!

We could either carve a pumpkin or paint it. Parker was all about the painting. Thanks Grandpa and Dana for the pumpkin!

Then we bobbed for apples. That was first for Parker.

He struggled a bit...

Good thing Uncle E stepped in and helped him out!

We also enjoyed a hayrack ride.

Jesus will clean it up...

Last Thursday, the weather outside was terrible! The high was 60-some degrees and the wind was blowing 40-50 mph. The sky was brown because of all the dirt in the air. And on the way home from Tammy's house, I could tell Parker was in deep thought.
Me : "what's up Parker?"
Parker "why is the sky not blue today?"
Me "because the wind is blowing all the dirt around"
P "who is going to clean all that dirt up?"
M "I don't know. Who do you think will clean it up?"
(pause)
P "I think Jesus will clean it up"
M (giggling) "I bet you are right. That is a lot of work for Jesus!"
P "I think everyone in Heaven will help him"

I love how he thinks!

Park, Fall Festival and Everything Inbetween!

Kendall really enjoys visting the park and Parker really enjoys having the role of "Big Brother."

Kendall has discovered some body parts including her belly button, nose ("no"), eyes, toes and ears. She LOVES showing off her belly button!

She likes to pull along her alligator and look at her books.

The other day she got busted trying to steal an afternoon snack. YUM...apple dapples!

Kendall also is getting her animal sounds down! She knows how a cow, monkey, dog, and a tiger goes. But my favorite is her impression of a camel!

Make a video - it's fun, easy and free!

Lastly, the Maize Fall Festival was last weekend. I had a volleyball tournament (took 1st), so Kevin took the kiddos. Looks like they had a great time!
