Another reason I love the weekends

This is how I get to wake up on the weekends. Beats an alarm clock! (Finally got her on camera saying "mama")

She just talks and talks in her crib in the morning. So I get to hear her chat it up over the baby moniter - she is my alarm clock on the weekends.
She was also enjoying the empty Pampers box. She didn't want the ride to end. Boxes are the best!

More Easter

On Sunday, we were able to enjoy more family for Easter weekend. We started at church and then hit up the Meirowsky household and then over to Great Grandma's. Parker got than his fair share of Easter eggs.

Saturday night as Parker and I went to go read a book, I told Parker let's tell the Easter story instead. He was game and I started to tell him. Then he insisted that he finish it. I was a little hesitant because I really wanted him to hear the story and when he tells stories it gets a little sidetracked and long. But I played along. And he made me so proud! He told me that Jesus died on the cross for us and our sins. Then they put him in a cave and he slipped out. "Slipped out right through the crack." And now he lives in Heaven with his Daddy.
He is so smart! His teachers at school have done an AWESOME job; I bet they would be proud too!

Easter with the Woodards

Happy Easter! We had Easter with the Woodards out at the shop so there was room for horseshoes, kite flying, races, and lots of family and friends!

The eggs are hiden...GO FIND THEM!

Time for kites!

Enjoying Spring

Kiddo Update: Parker is doing great. He LOVES to make his sister laugh. We will be signing him up for baseball this spring; we can't wait to burn some energy out of that kid. He is always going 100 mph. Still plays with his Cars and Hot Wheels, but he also likes getting outside and jumping on the trampoline.
As for Kendall, she now has 2 teeth. And I love when she wakes me up over the baby moniter saying "mama, mama!" Tammy says that she also says "ball," but neither Kevin or I have heard that one yet. Last night when I layed her down in bed I swear she said "ni-ni." (Night-night). She is getting closer to crawling - expert at going backwards. She gets SO frustrated with herself when she tries to move forward. Kendall did have an ear infection last week so we had to take her to the doctor. She didn't seem to mind the infection, but the slime coming from her ear so disgusting! When he were there her weight was 20lbs 11 oz. I really take advantage of my weekends, because Kendall goes to bed so early (5:30 to 6:00). By the time I get home from softball practice during the week, she is ready to go to sleep. I get to nurse her and then she is out. Then I rush to make dinner for the men in my life :) I get about 30 minutes with Parker, then it is his bath time and he is off to bed. Can't wait for summer! Love every minute with my kiddos!
