Cassie's Shower & Other "Things"

This weekend was Cassie's shower in preparation for Little Ella to join us at the end of May. She got LOTS of great things!! Parker passed most of the time watching Cars on the DVD player.

Last weekend, we spent the morning cleaning house. Even Parker is a big help. He LOVES to vacuum up all the "Ray-Ray" hairs. He does them one-by-one until they are none on the wood floors. He gets that from his daddy!!!

Parker is such a boy! Why don't you relax buddy?

Kevin and Parker were playing swordfighting on the Wii. Parker can kick butt even without looking!

Parker has discovered Kevin's MP3 player. He was jamming out! His favorite 2 songs right now are Black Eye Peas "I'mma be" and Ludicrous "How low can you go." It is funny to hear him try to sing along.

"Listen Moss!" Parker calls Grandma Lisa moss. It took us a while to figure it out, but we think it is because every time we talk about "going to grandMOSS" or "that is grandMOSS" that is the last syllabul that he hears. One day we will have to break it to him that there is more to words than just the last syllabul.

Parker has done a great job adjusting to the new living arrangements. We have been living at Grandma Lisa's for about a month now as our house is being built. We were a little nervous that he wouldn't sleep well or be slightly uncomfortable, but he acts like their has been no change at all. Kevin and I agree that he sleeps better here than at our old house. He is out of his toddler bed and sleeping in a twin bed. The other morning I was a bad mommy...I heard him in the kitchen talking away and just thought he was talking to "Moss." So I kinda went back to sleep and about 30 minutes later I woke up to him getting a little fussier! I thought I should go save my mom from my grumppy toddler - as I walked into the kitchen he was sitting in his chair at the table. When he saw me he announced "EAT TIME!" I had totally forgotten that "Moss" had left early that day to babysit Addie. Parker had been all by himself in the kitchen. Silly boy. We need to teach him to pour his own cereal.
Parker still loves his cousins! He has been able to hang out with Addie at the gym while Kevin, Eric, Loni, and myself play volleyball. He gets to be with Jozzie on Sunday's while Kevin, JD and I play softball. Parker just has quite the social calendar!

Can't beat licking the beaters!

And since we have moved in with Moss, Parker has loved doing puzzles! He does a great job of putting them together...this isn't his best showing, but I've been trying to get some video of him talking. As soon as I pull out the video camera he zips his lips! Little booger!
These are little old, but I never got a chance to get them on the blog. These are from the first of February. Parents as Teachers held their annual Little Sports Night where the high school athletes come down and teach the little guys (and girls) how to play their sports. Of course, no surprise, Parker loves this evening! People were quite impressed with his hitting skills. My softball girls were taking notes (haha).

Yep, looks like he is going to be a lefty!
