Pure Entertainment

I decided to get Parker out of the house today and let him burn off some energy! So we picked up his best bud, Caden, and headed out to a new place called Pure Entertainment. It is a huge "warehouse" of inflatables where they can literally bounce off the walls. They have every type of inflatable you could ever want plus some games. Caden, Parker (and Mommy!) had a great time bouncing around this morning - I got my workout in! And both of those boys are SO drawn to balls! So we played basketball, soccer, football, and, of course, baseball. They loved the baseball game...you can see why!

Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas at the Meirowsky household! We got to be with lots of family so we accomplished our mission! I will let the pictures do the talking...

Christmas started over at Great Grandma Aaron's house a couple of days before. Parker had a good time playing with Grandma and Bill and checking our their reindeer.

Parker was very careful to see that ALL his trash got picked up right away. Then even put the trashcan up before looking at his new movie Monsters Inc.

Then the day before Christmas Eve, IT SNOWED! We had a white Christmas! As always, Parker is a great helper! However the snow shovel was a little large for him, so Kevin found him a little scooper.

Kevin had to work at Target Christmas Eve morning, but we had a fire blazing and gifts all ready for him when he got home. It was a very different experience than last year. Parker had never tried to open the gifts leading up to Christmas, but he torn into them when we have him the green light. He even helped Reagan open her gifts - she was pretty excited!

We know how to please him - cars and balls. That is all the kid ever really needs! haha

Then we headed over to Grandma Lisa's house for the afternoon. The whole gang was there and we had a great time!

Lastly, after Parker's nap, we went to Great Grandma and Grandpa's house. Parker shot some pool and then enjoyed playing with his remote control car.

Christmas Morning! I already posted the video (see last post) of Christmas morning...it was so cute! Parker was SO distracted by the ornament that had fallen that he didn't see what Santa had brought for quite a while. But then he sure loved his candy, tent and tunnel!

Then we went to Grandma Chris & Grandpa Tom's house for lunch. They had all the fixings...yum...yum! And Parker picked up a couple more gifts over there!

He loves his new workbench - especially the drill!

Our last "Christmas" was over at Grandpa Kirk's house on Sunday. Parker always has a great time with Addie and we also played some Wii over there. Grandpa is pretty good at archery!

Addie wiped out on Grandpa!

Parker's legs are just a bit short for the bike that Grandpa Kirk got him, but I give it a month and he will be peddling just fine!
Thanks to everyone for such a wonderful holiday!

Christmas Morning

Kevin bought us a video camera for Christmas and I couldn't wait to try it out! So here is Parker's "first" (last year doesn't count) Santa visit. More Christmas pictures to come. Happy Holidays!

PJ Day at Tammy's

Friday was PJ Day at Babysitter Tammy's house. Tammy also got Parker a toy car that makes noises and drives off when you shake it! Thanks Tammy!

Getting Ready for Christmas

We had a great weekend this week! Last night (Friday) Skeet Wiggins had his annual Christmas Party with food, drinks, a live band, and all our great friends. Parker had an awesome time! He was a dancing machine on the dance floor. Good thing he look a late nap, because he stayed up until about 10:30 - WAY past bed time. But he did so good and had a great time dancing and hanging out with Grandma Chris.
Then today we took our family Christmas pictures (more on that below) and also went to C-Arrow Stables Winter Wonderland. They had pony rides, a hay rack ride, petting zoo, Santa was there, hot chocolate and hot cider, and a live nativity scene. Parker had a great time as you can see below.

All Santa could get from Parker was some "nucks." Maybe the next time we meet Santa we can get him to sit on his lap. Maybe...

Good ole Eeyore was there. I don't think Parker quite knew what to think of him.

And our family Christmas picture. We had plans to do it earlier in the week, but it was too cold! I think the high was 19 degrees the day we planned on doing it...BRRRR! It was pretty nice out today - about 20 degrees warmer! Thanks Grandma Lisa! Here are a couple that we really liked.

Parker looks so ornery here!

We finally threw out the old fake tree and purchased a real tree this year. Well, we really didn't throw it out...it has a new home in my classroom - the kids are loving that! Anyway, we picked out our tree and took it back home to nestle it in. Parker liked to help put up the bulbs. It will be so fun one day when our tree is filled with all kinds of school-made ornaments to hang on the tree. He is all about "LIGHTS" right now. On a tree or a house, he will not let one go unnoticed!!
