Summer's OVER!

School starts tomorrow...I can't believe it! It went so fast, but Parker and I had a great time. A couple of weeks Parker started his "terrible twos." Yes, it is a little early for that, but none the less they are here. He likes to throw temper tantroms by throwing himself on the floor and screaming his head off!!! But Kevin and I have had enough of that and Parker ends up in his bedroom for "time out" pretty quickly. Other than that, he is into EVERYTHING! When I take a shower, Parker does a great job playing by himself usually in his room. But the other day when I got out of the shower, it was a little to quiet! I went looking for Parker and found him in the kitchen. He had gotten into the lazy susan and pulled out a brand new huge bag of flour and spread it EVERYWHERE...kitchen and living room.
It was too funny to get mad at him, but I got one picture. So I put him in his room so I could clean up the mess. 30 minutes later I had all the flour swept, sponged, vaccumed, dusted up and went to go find Parker in his bedroom...but he had escaped! He fled to our bedroom and while I was busy picking up flour, Parker had pulled all our clothes out of our drawers and pulled our clothes out of the closet. AHHH another mess! He was driving me crazy! For about 2 weeks that was my life. I had to keep an extra close eye on him or keep him very busy. So we went to the park several times, stayed in the pool, and went to Tanganyika Wildlife Park. Tanganyika was pretty expensive, but it was cool to interact with some wild animals. Parker got to feed the lemors, rabbits, goats & tortoises. Parker enjoyed the goats, giraffes and white tiger the best. The feeding station was new to the giraffes so they didn't know how to react just yet. They said that by next summer the giraffes would be eating out of people's hands. Other than that we have had a great summer.

BABY CHEEKS!

Thanks Grandpa Tom for the "fish tank!" Parker doesn't start his day without it on and a good up close view of his "fish."

Parker can...
Meow like a cat
Make a fish sound
Moo as we pass cows on a car ride
Point to his eyes, nose, mouth, ears, fingers, toes, knees, bellybutton, and bottom
Hit a rolling ball or off a tee (rarely misses)
Climb the pool ladder and jump in
Drive his mom and dad CRAZY!! haha
