Valentine's Day and 3 Weeks Old!

Things happen so fast around here; it is hard to keep up! Parker is changing so much. He keeps us up for most of the night and sleeps mostly during the day. He has terrible gas and that usually keeps him up. (Later in life, he will love the fact that I shared that!) But last night he suprised us both by sleeping 4 hours straight. It was amazing! Kevin got up twice just to make sure everything was okay. The last couple of days you can tell he is really staring to see things better and all together more "with it." He coos with the best of them and loves his baths! He just got one before this picture (above)...he has some crazy hair after baths.

Valentine's Day Kevin and I got a couple hours out of the house. Parker's date was Grandma Lisa. We had everything all set up for a big date together and Parker slept the whole time we were gone! What a good boy! Kevin and I enjoyed Carraba's Italian Restaurant. It was very good - we love that place. Not only was it our first time out without Parker, but our first time to eat out in forever. We did an early dinner around 4 to beat the crowd, so we were only away for 2 hours. It was a good evening!

Lastly, I finally got a picture of my dad with Parker. Have to share!

Almost 2 weeks old

He is just getting more adorable every day! We had our first big night last night where Mom got FIVE hours of sleep. Here are some of his latest shots. He also got to meet Great Grandma James the other day.

First Week

I can't believe that a whole week has already flown by. Parker is already changing and getting bigger. We have had a lot of firsts this week. First trip to the doctor : everything was find, jaudice is going away.

First time flirting with a bunch of girls : some softball players came over and he was soo good. FUNNY STORY : She is going to kill me, but Courtney White is a hoot! When the girls were over we discussing how things were going and I said that he was up a lot the previous night because he had terrible gas. Kevin said he must not have liked the chili that we had for dinner. Courtney eyes got big and she couldn't believe that we fed him chili. Silly girl; she learned what breastfeeding is all about!

First "road trip" : we went to Granny Tanny's house. She thought he was adorable (darn it I forgot my camera)!!

First day outside : We went for a small walk; it was gorgous outside. I think it hit 65 degrees (then it snowed the next day). I was still a little sore, so it was pretty slow and not very far, but he enjoyed the fresh air. - so much he slept the whole time; a common occurance during the daytime hours.

First Super Bowl : I don't really think Parker cared how won (me either, Giants or Patriots - who cares!), but we hung out at Tom and Chris's house. Jenny, JD, JD's brother Logan and his daughter Brooklyn were there and Cousin Myles too.

He just keeps growing and growing. He is soo much fun! Actually I think he is calling my name right now; time to eat!!
